2024 Last Chance BQ.2 Finisher Results vs Qualifying Standards

This chart shows the percentage of finishers under and over their qualifying standards.  Each bar represents another minute's worth of finishers  ...

       blue & green: 0-1 minute under, 1-2 minutes under, ... their standard

   or yellow:           0-1 minute over,   1-2 minutes over,   ...  their standard

BQ.2 among the top of "Most likely to Qualify" marathons

Thanks to our race designs and amenities plus a little help from Mother Nature, approximately 74.5% of 2024 Last Chance BQ.2 finishers qualified for Boston, ranking the BQ.2 Marathon Races a solid #3, #4, & #5 among 2024's top North American qualifying races.   (As expected, the Olympic Trails marathons took the #1 and #2 spots, with 100% of finishers qualifying.)

Note:  Marathonguide.com can see race day age, but not date of birth, so the chart approximates qualifying percentage (70.8%) based on age as of race day.  Since we know our runners' date of birth, we can calculate BQ.2's actual qualifying percentage (74.5%) based on each finisher's age as of the upcoming Boston race day.
