A Word About 2020 Boston Registration

As expected this year, General Registration will open 9/16, the Monday after the Last Chance BQ.2, making BQ.2’s 9/14 weekend truly the last chance to get your 2020 Boston qualifying time.

For those unfamiliar with how Boston registration works the simplest explanation is they take the fastest 2x,000 runners.  It begins with Early registration on 9/8 for runners 20 minutes or faster and continues through the week with those 10 minutes and then 5 minutes below their qualifying time.  Early registration ends at 5pm after Last Chance BQ.2.  General Registration for those less than 5 minutes under the new standards begins Monday 9/16 and ends when they fill all 2x,000 spots.

As an added bonus, we will have registration kiosks available right in race village for those who are 5 minutes or more under their qualifying times, so they can take advantage of Early Registration, which ends at 5PM on the 14th.

Boston registration WILL be open through Last Chance BQ.2 on 9/14.
